This Privacy Policy explains how Eventology ("we," "us," "our," "Eventology") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Eventology website (eventology.me) and the event technology and management services we provide ("Services").

By using this website or engaging our Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.

3. Scope of This Policy — Two Types of Data

Because of how our Services work, we handle personal data in two distinct capacities, and it's important to be clear about which applies to you:

3.1. Website Visitors. If you are simply browsing eventology.me, filling out our contact form, or requesting a proposal, Eventology is the data controller for the personal data you provide or that is collected automatically (see Sections 4–7 below). This Policy governs that data in full.

3.2. Event Attendees. If you are attending an event that uses Eventology's registration, badge, or access control systems, your registration and attendance data is collected on behalf of, and for the benefit of, the event organizer (our client). In that context, Eventology acts as a data processor, handling that data under the instructions and agreement of the organizer. Questions about how your attendee data is used should generally be directed to the event organizer; however, we apply the confidentiality, security, and data-retention commitments described in Section 9 to all attendee data we handle regardless of which client's event it relates to. 4. Information We Collect

4.1. Information you provide directly, such as when you fill out our contact form or otherwise reach out to us: name, email address, phone number, company or organization name, and event details or any message content you submit.

4.2. Information collected automatically when you visit our website: IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring/exit pages, and general geographic location (derived from IP address).

This automatic information is collected via cookies and similar tracking technologies, described further in Section 6 and in our separate Cookies Policy.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to: respond to your inquiries and proposal requests; provide, operate, and improve our Services; understand how visitors use our website and improve its content and performance; measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising campaigns; deliver relevant advertising to you on other platforms (see Section 7); and comply with legal obligations.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website for functionality, analytics, and advertising purposes. Full details of the specific cookies we use, their purpose, and their duration are set out in our Cookies Policy.

At a general level, our website uses (or, where noted, plans to use) the following categories of tracking tools:

6.1. Analytics. We use Google Analytics (via the Google tag / Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors interact with our website — including pages viewed, time on site, and traffic sources — so we can improve the site's content and user experience. Google Analytics collects data such as your IP address (which may be anonymized or truncated), device and browser information, and browsing behavior on our site.

6.2. Advertising and Retargeting. We use (or plan to use) the following advertising pixels to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and to show relevant Eventology content to people who have previously visited our website: Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), Snap Pixel (Snapchat), and Google Tag / Google Ads. These tools may set cookies or use similar identifiers in your browser and may collect information about your visit to our site, which can be linked to your activity on the relevant platform if you are logged into an account there.

6.3. Hosting and Security (Cloudflare). Our website is also delivered through Cloudflare, a content delivery and security provider. Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as your IP address, browser type, and pages requested) in order to serve the site, cache content, and protect it against malicious traffic, and it may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) for bot protection. 6.4. Your Choices. You can control or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or, where available, through a cookie consent tool on our website. See our Cookies Policy for details on how to manage your preferences.

7. Third-Party Service Providers and Data Sharing

We share information with the following categories of third parties, only as necessary to operate our website and Services: analytics and advertising providers (Google today, and Meta and Snap if and when their pixels are added, as described in Section 6); hosting, content delivery, and security providers (including Cloudflare and our web hosting provider); and service providers engaged for a specific event, where relevant to delivering registration, badge, access control, or related Services for a client's event.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third parties as described in this Policy, as required by law, or as necessary to provide our Services.

8. International Data Transfers

Some of the third parties listed in Section 7 (such as Google and Cloudflare, and in future Meta and Snap) may process data on servers located outside Jordan, including in the United States or European Union. Where this occurs, these providers maintain their own data protection safeguards in accordance with applicable international standards.

9. Data Retention and Security

9.1. We retain website inquiry data (e.g., contact form submissions) for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping purposes.

9.2. As described in our Terms of Service, event attendee data collected in the course of delivering our Services is used solely for event-related purposes and is securely archived and subsequently purged after final reports are delivered, with residual data and system traces permanently deleted beyond what is required for agreed reporting or legal retention obligations.

9.3. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to or opt out of certain processing (including analytics and advertising tracking). 11. Children's Privacy

Our website and Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
